ABOUT CAMP READ
Camp Read Scout Reservation is located in Brant Lake, NY within Adirondack State Park (approximately 30 minutes north of the village of Lake George). The facility boasts 1,000 picturesque acres and includes three campsites:
- Camp Buckskin (Troop 228’s typical site)
- Camp Waubeeka
- Summit Base
Camp Read is also home to the largest climbing tower in the Northeast.
