ABOUT PHILMONT RANCH

Philmont Scout Ranch is the Boy Scouts of America’s largest national High Adventure Base. Covering 137,000 acres, the facility is situated within the rugged mountain wilderness of the Sangre de Cristo (Blood of Christ) range of the Rocky Mountains in northern New Mexico.

The program provides incredible outdoor adventures and allows participants to experience backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, burro packing, gold panning, rifle shooting and chuckwagon dinners.
